State Homeschool Organizations Co-ops and Groups!

State Homeschool Organizations

Local state homeschool organizations work in many ways to support the needs to homeschooling families. Oftentimes we think their main function is to host a large homeschooling convention each year. And while many homeschooling organizations do have a homeschool convention, that’s not the only thing they do. They also

  1. Work to make sure homeschooling remains legal in the state
  2. Offer support to homeschooling families all year long
  3. Offer support and assistance to new homeschooling families all year long
  4. Help coordinate events and field trips

Arizona Families for Home Education

Indiana Association for Home Educators

Nebraska Homeschool

Home Educators Association of Virginia

There are also many smaller homeschooling groups and coops in each state.

Coops and smaller local support groups are able to serve the specific needs of homeschooling families in an area.

Looking to see if homeschool families in your area are participating?

Scan our list of participating co-ops and groups. They are listed by state. We’re just starting to add co-ops and groups now. Be sure to check back in August when the list for groups is longer.
